So when did it kind of start? You? So you never got a chance to play in a Christmas game? Huh, Nope, you were supposed to play in one. I tell you what happened to the the game you were supposed to play in? What was that? I was still suspended? I think I was with the Warriors. I mean, I'll go with the Indiana the second time. The first time the Pacers played the Pistons after the brawl Christmas Day of all that was spending holiday year and they had you sitting at the house. I was at the house and half family there, you know, feeling good, smoking good, Yeah, chilling, chilling. I wanted to I missed the game, but you know, I kind of I got a chance to play in maybe three or four Christmas Day games. But as much as it's it's fun in the honor to play on Christmas said like, it really takes away from your family time, you know what I mean. And that's the one time you you know, you really want to be a your family. But you know, I was fortunate to playing a couple of games. Um, but it was it was It was also dope, you know what I mean, because you know, that's the one day that everybody is watching TV. Everybody is sitting up and you know, watching TV. So it's a hell of a day to show out. That's a lot of guys debut their shoes and Christmas games special shoes. Yeah. I remember playing with the Lakers. I think I want to say Kobe gave everyone in the front row his new exclusive shoe. I think on the Christmas Day game one time, and yeah, people really fan out with their shoes. That ship is dope. I had one game, I know, I remember what the Clippers. I think I actually dropped twenty um on a Christmas Day game again. I think it was Denver Demn. I remember what the remember because the uniforms we had the Clippers were dope. They were all red with the blue trim. Clipper was outlining blue blue trim red shoes. Was out there game banging that day. You would have been proud. I would have been proud. Um. Yeah. But now, like I said, it was fun looking back on it. Uh, you know, there's some fun matchups this year. I think the Eastern Conference is really I kind of think they picked the top four teams and they all put them to battle. We got the Celtics and the Raptors. What you think about that matchup. I think it's gonna be a pretty good matchup. I think that's the second tier of the Easy Conference, you know, under Milwaukee and uh seven seven Sexes. But that should be a good game, and those guys could be one of those upset teams. Either one of those could be an upset team, so it'll be a good, good matchup. Yeah, I'm surprised with with the Raptors, you know, oh Raptors fans and apology, because I had them out the loop when we did our previous I didn't you had them in the mix. I'm just, you know, surprised that these young guys have really stepped up. You know, siakum Is it's a it's a star. Um. Van Fleet is about to get paid. Yeah, he's doing what he's supposed to do. You know, They've got the Vets and Kyl Lowry and Sergey Bacca and then Marco Soul those guys. But then the Celtics. Man, you know, we had Jay them Brown on earlier and you can really see it's it's almost like a weightlifted and they had their old swag back and their chemistry back, and the Celtics look good. I think they're probably a big away from being a real contender. Um, but the way they're playing, man, Jathon Brown and Tatum or Solid out there whoping, Kimba's doing what Kimba does. Who you got in that game. I'm gonna go with the Celtics. I think being on the road, those young guys uh, Christmas game. You know, it's gonna be a statement game against them. You know, I think I think those young guys gonna show up. I got the Celtics as well. Like I said, I just I really like the Celtics, like how they're playing like that, where they're about going in Toronto is gonna be right now, I'm sure, Yeah, that's the East team. I'm sure Drake will probably be courtside talking there and one a Christmas Day. But I got the Celtics on that. The next matchup. You know, I think I think people always kind of downplayed Houston and saying they weren't good enough, and they weren't you know, they couldn't do this, They couldn't. They just happened to keep running into the Warriors. They went into a dynasty, you know. So I think the way they thought when they made the schedule, this is gonna line up they got Westbrook. Now it might be, you know, time for them to jump the Warriors, but the Warriors have been desecrated by injury. Yeah, they're gonna come in there and just have their way with him. On Christmas, I mean it's gonna be over early. How many points James going for over over under fifty on Christmas? I would say, right under fifty? Are you okay? I'm I'm gonna say he's gonna get a fifty piece on Christmas? Why not? I mean, look again, this is his his name is ain't the Warriors of Old, It's the Warriors of New. Now. It's tough, though, you know what I mean. It's we talked about it before, but you know, we both kind of have the same feeling that people don't understand unless you really understand the game. Like Warriors fans got to just kind of sit back and embrace this. They got a hell of a journey they watched the last five years. But you know, now you have Steph and Clay who are resting. You got Draymond who's, you know, kind of just staying in shape, playing about game, so he's going to be resting. And then you you're developing a good young talent, you know with Pascal is At his name Eric pasco At, the kid from Villanova who is in a top leading score for all rookies. I'm not saying something. It's a very talented rookie class. They got a couple of other kids out there they could really play. So the way I look at it is your vets are getting rest, You're you're you're you're teaching your young players invaluable lessons. They're taking hard knocks and everything of that because they're getting their asses kicked for what everyone else wanted to do to the Warriors. So even though the Stars aren't playing, teams are still trying to beat the breaks off the Warriors. And they're doing it. But like I said, young players are taking their licks. But you got a solid player in Dil, you develop a few rookies, they happen to be one of the If they were the one of the worst teams in the league, which they are now, they're gonna get a lottery pick. And then you package everything together, you get your healthy stars back, and you're back in championship contention next year. You know what I mean. Stial wordpens. Stay patient, it's coming, um. And then the game. I think the world is looking for probably the most anticipated Christmas game and in modern memory, Lakers Clippers Battle of l A. That's gonna be fun. Man, It's gonna be moving, man. Um. I can't wait to see how intends this this would be from how they when they mastered the first time, you can see, like you said, we do is filling each other out. But I think the way the Lakers are rulling right now, I feel like they're the best team in the league. And this game will be on the Lakers court. It won't be on the Clippers court, which it might make it might not make it difference because we know it's in the same arena, but it makes it different being yellow in that arenas. It's it's a different Lakers game. It's dark, it's weird, like they only shine lights towards the court areas. You can't Yeah, they can't really see what's It's just a whole different mistake if people don't know, Like when the Lakers play in the world in the Clippers play, so Lakers home court Christmas Day game. Hopefully there's no load management, hopefully everyone will Hopefully everyone's healthy on that game. We kind of talk about like when the big spots of the seasons are for players. I mean, it's such a long season and people want to consistently. Obviously you want to play hard throughout, but I think the beginning of the season is fun basketball. Christmas time is always fun basketball. And then there's kind of like that January push where it's just that, you know, we got to get through the All Star break, and then it really picks up again post All Star Break going into the playoffs. So this is gonna be a really exciting. Uh you know Christmas time, Christmas Day games and uh, I can't wait to see him. Who do you got in the game? I love that the world, that the world is getting to see who a D really is now because he's always been one of the best players in the world. You know, I can carry this team to be just gonna be my team a whole bunch of nights, right, you know what I mean? And you still come out and be Lebron. But let's you know, let's say, and that's what I said early on, if if the Lakers in the position where a d is in the m v P talks, that means Braun did his job of getting him involved, getting him going, and you're gonna see the fucking monster of Lebron in the playoffs. And that's scary. Um. I've been, you know, and I'm still sticking with it. You know, I think the Lakers are playing the best basketball right now. I just believe in this Clipper team, man, you know what I mean. They've had some ups and down, They've had some ugly losses, some games they shouldn't have lost. But I just feel like big games when it's supposed to be, when this team is supposed to show up and play, I I think, you know, they are the best teams. So although it's only Christmas. It's probably gonna be a waste time. But although we both feel that he's gonna James gonna be right at fifty, I think it's gonna bust fifty on Christmas, and which would be dope. And uh, I remember coming downstairs when Christmas, knowing that I wasn't gonna get what I asked for. I gonna get some socks and some draws and some white beaters or some ship that I knew I didn't need it. Got a whole bunch of that ship, because everybody give you that for Christmas. And uh, I came downstairs and she, uh, she had it sitting on this She didn't want to wrap it, so she had it sitting right down the couch dow and I, like, I couldn't believe it. I would in the summertime. I would have motherfucker all year round. And she was all purpose to work out in the cold. Ain't like, you know, because it was Stylus back then, and I knew how hardly worked. But to get that radar started, that was that was the best Christmas. So even though the Stars aren't playing, teams are still trying to beat the breaks off the Warriors. And they're doing it. But like I said, young players are taking their licks. But you got a solid player in Dil, you develop a few rookies, they happen to be one of the If they were the one of the worst teams in the league, which they are now, they're gonna get a lottery pick. And then you package everything together, you get your healthy stars back, and you're back in championship contention next year. You know what I mean. Stial wordpens. Stay patient, it's coming, um. And then the game. I think the world is looking for probably the most anticipated Christmas game and in modern memory, Lakers Clippers Battle of l A. That's gonna be fun. Man, It's gonna be moving, man. Um. I can't wait to see how intends this this would be from how they when they mastered the first time, you can see, like you said, we do is filling each other out. But I think the way the Lakers are rulling right now, I feel like they're the best team in the league. And this game will be on the Lakers court. It won't be on the Clippers court, which it might make it might not make it difference because we know it's in the same arena, but it makes it different being yellow in that arenas. It's it's a different Lakers game. It's dark, it's weird, like they only shine lights towards the court areas. You can't Yeah, they can't really see what's It's just a whole different mistake if people don't know, Like when the Lakers play in the world in the Clippers play, so Lakers home court Christmas Day game. Hopefully there's no load management, hopefully everyone will Hopefully everyone's healthy on that game. We kind of talk about like when the big spots of the seasons are for players. I mean, it's such a long season and people want to consistently. Obviously you want to play hard throughout, but I think the beginning of the season is fun basketball. Christmas time is always fun basketball. And then there's kind of like that January push where it's just that, you know, we got to get through the All Star break, and then it really picks up again post All Star Break going into the playoffs. So this is gonna be a really exciting. Uh you know Christmas time, Christmas Day games and uh, I can't wait to see him. Who do you got in the game? I gotta go to the Lake show man just uh Tim Duncan on steroids a D. Like I said, Lebron has never played with a guy like a D in his whole career. Man, this this guy can get fifty any night, just like James Cann at the fourth spot. All the ball handling and that has been working on this summer. It's really Sean like he catching down on preeople in line, crossing Big Man, over going Duncan, and like he's doing a lot of stuff that he hasn't done. So I just see what the addition to a D Lebron is disguising. Let me for the Legers. I got the Legers winning. I love that the world, that the world is getting to see who a D really is now because he's always been one of the best players in the world. He was just on a on an average team in a bad market, you know what I mean. So him coming front stage and come into the Lakers. You know a lot of people, I was one of the people. The question where they're giving up too much for a d um, you know, but he's coming here and showing that he's worth that and more and really showing Lebron that you know, you can lean on me. You know, I can carry this team to be just gonna be my team a whole bunch of nights, right, you know what I mean? And you still come out and be Lebron. But let's you know, let's say, and that's what I said early on, if if the Lakers in the position where a d is in the m v P talks, that means Braun did his job of getting him involved, getting him going, and you're gonna see the fucking monster of Lebron in the playoffs. And that's scary. Um. I've been, you know, and I'm still sticking with it. You know, I think the Lakers are playing the best basketball right now. I just believe in this Clipper team, man, you know what I mean. They've had some ups and down, They've had some ugly losses, some games they shouldn't have lost. But I just feel like big games when it's supposed to be, when this team is supposed to show up and play, I I think, you know, they are the best teams. So although it's only Christmas. I think it's gonna be a great matchup. I got the clips with we Bett on the game. I want the best of money. You want to bet like some some some cush push ups or what you wanna do some cush push ups? Loser fifty push ups with either uh blackwood or joint in my mouth while response that y'all seen that, so we're gonna feel that. I'm gonna call everybody, give you all the pep talk. I need this um and then the last game of the night. I think it was probably supposed to be too young and up and coming teams when they when they put it on the schedule, but Pelicans VERSU Nuggets obviously with you know, no Zion. Up to this point, I won't be watching next game. It's the last game. You go to bed early, yeah for real, you know no Zion. I don't want to watch it, and I'd like to watch the Ingram. Ingram is coming to his own and people say, you know, why did you trade Ingram as a Laker. I don't think Ingram comes into his form if he stays on the Lakers, because he's not going to get the ball like he needs to do, and how he's getting it with the Pelicans, you know, so I think I'm really proud of could possibly be an All Star. This year's numbers are all star worthy. West is always heavy, but without Zion, this team is kind of a kind of struggling to find their way. Um, so Denver's gonna win obviously blow out. There's a couple of obvious games, Warriors in Houston and then Pelicans endeavor. You know, you got something else to do. You could probably do that instead of watching them games. It's probably gonna be a waste time. But although we both feel that he's gonna James gonna be right at fifty, I think it's gonna bust fifty on Christmas, and which would be dope. All the small Christmas wishes for basketball fans, I wish my fans are happy Christmas. I wish all y'all get what y'all want. That was good. All you bad mothercker's. I hope you don't get ship because it's the only way you're gonna learn your lesson. So you just watch your other good kids open their gifts. You know what I'm saying. You're bad motherfucker to sit there and just just not all on your face and cry. Just be upset and be good. This year it's sounding might get a little badass something, but you gotta learn one way another, you know what I mean. Eat good. There's gonna be a lot of good food in the house. Um, you know, just out of the way, and uh, you know, tune into whatever we got going on. What anything rememorable would you love about Christmas? My favorite member about Christmas? Bros. I just got one. You know, every somebody asks as a simple one. Growing up and put out the Texas, you know, it was a must where where I hung out, and I grew up in the hood, but it was a must. You have a Raiders starter jacket. And I begged my mama for a Raider started jacket. Dot to my beg and she couldn't afford it. I knew she couldn't afford it because you know, she probably had six hundred dollars to spend for all of us with Christmas. That jacket comes like a hundred sub dollars. And uh, I remember coming downstairs when Christmas, knowing that I wasn't gonna get what I asked for. I gonna get some socks and some draws and some white beaters or some ship that I knew I didn't need it. Got a whole bunch of that ship, because everybody give you that for Christmas. And uh, I came downstairs and she, uh, she had it sitting on this She didn't want to wrap it, so she had it sitting right down the couch dow and I, like, I couldn't believe it. I would in the summertime. I would have motherfucker all year round. And she was all purpose to work out in the cold. Ain't like, you know, because it was Stylus back then, and I knew how hardly worked. But to get that radar started, that was that was the best Christmas. And one christ shout out Judy, thought out Judy for that Jack And I know you talk of that girl. Yeah, uh mine, I've just always been I mean, obviously as a child getting stuff was cool, but I liked once we got into position to take care of everyone and really take care of our family for Christmas, you know what I mean, being able to get them whatever they want, you know what I mean. And I enjoy you know, this is the one time I really enjoy spoiling my kids. And you know, my nephews and family. So that's probably the best part of Christmas for me is just being able to support and and make sure when that was a great Christmas, having a Christmas you want to have. Ye. Second, that's a big ye.
