Broadcaster and sports journalist Phil Gifford is being remembered as passionate man with a deep interest in both people and events.
The man who first rose to prominence as Loosehead Len in the 1970s has died aged 79.
Gifford's career spanned radio, television and newspapers across five decades.
Sports Journalist Lynn McConnell was both a colleague and friend of Gifford, and joined Lesley Murdoch to pay tribute.
