Golfer Garth Galloway joined the All Sport Breakfast to discuss the Charteris Bay Golf Club on Canterbury's Banks Peninsula.

A tough nine hole course that looks across all the fabulous vistas that only Canterbury can provide with almost 200 members and only 30 minutes from Christchurch City.

Galloway expanded further - and also discussed the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

Shining a spotlight on another Canterbury golf club. 

Kaituna Golf Club is a nine hole course just under 50km south of Christchurch, located on the Kaitorete Spit. 

It’s open all year round, and with a new irrigation system currently in progress, is in the best shape it has been for many years. 

Lesley Murdoch caught up with Club President Peter Miller for a chat.

Matatu have gotten off to a red-hot start in Super Rugby Aupiki – going three for three. 

This weekend they’re travelling north to face off against the Chiefs Manawa. 

Matatu lock Laura Bayfield joined Lesley Murdoch for a chat about her team’s great start to the competition, and what they can expect from their opponents who are yet to win a game this season.
