The annual Long Run around Rugy and Malvern Parks took place in Christchurch last week, with the Crusaders, public, and many corporates taking part. 

The aim of the event is to raise money for child cancer, conceptualised by Aaron Webb, who joined Lesley Murdoch to reflect on what’s become an iconic charity run.

Crusaders and All Blacks hooker Codie Taylor is back in action this weekend. 

The Crusaders are travelling north to face their traditional rivals, the Blues, later this evening. 

Taylor spoke with the media ahead of what’s shaping up to be another bruising Super Rugby Pacific encounter.

Some of the leading players from across the Asia-Pacific region have been competing all across the country. 

He also explained what’s happening with one of Christchurch’s prestigious golf courses, Pegasus, as it goes up for sale.

Canterbury’s head coach is heading offshore at the end of the month, taking up a role coaching with English County Middlesex. 

But before he leaves, the team will be facing off against Wellington in the Ford Trophy Grand Final.
