Urban 20- to 24-year-olds have one of the highest unemployment rates in India – 37.9%. Among them, graduates report a much higher unemployment rate of over 60%. And it’s worse when it comes to women – almost one in four urban women with bachelor’s degrees and one in five with post-graduate education are unemployed.
