And yet, when the roster for the Women’s World Cup team was released, Ashley’s name wasn’t on it. The tough thing is that, like many disappointments in life, Ashley doesn’t really have an answer for why it didn’t work out the way she’d hoped. She does, however, recognize that she has the power to choose how she responds to that disappointment.
