Y'ALL 106.7 interviews singer/songwriter/ instrumentalist, and founding member of the 90s country music band Ricochet, Mr. Eddie Kilgallon! Known for their hits like "Daddy's Money," and "What Do I know," the band made their mark on country music! So how did the guys get together? What was it like touring in the peak in of 90s country? Eddie is taking us along the journey! Not only is he an incredible pianist and vocalist, Eddie is a songwriter penning hits like George Strait's "One Night at a Time!" How did it feel to land a song with the king of country music? The stories don't stop there, since parting ways with Ricochet, Eddie K. now plays in the band for Montgomery Gentry and serves as tour manager. Y'ALL 106.7 interviews country music singer songwriter + signature voice in country music- Josh Turner! With timeless songs and five #1 hits like “Long black train,” “Your man,” and “why don’t we just dance,” it's hard to pick a favorite! His debut album “Long Black Train” is certified platinum with nearly 1.5 album sales and over 300 million streams to date. Turner's latest album, “This Country Music Thing” in 2024 has already racked up 10 million streams, and debuted top 10 on country album charts.  “Two steppin’ on the moon,”from the new album garnered him an invitation to perform for NASA astronauts, on the International Space Station, from Mission Control at Houston's Johnson Space Center. He was also asked by NBC's TODAY to perform "Unsung Hero" for Veterans Day, a song he wrote about his granddaddy who served in WWII.  So which country music hit does Turner love the most? with a voice like his, it's clear he was destined to sing country music. When did Turner know this is what he wanted to do? What lessons has he learned along the way?     

Y'ALL 106.7 interviews lead singer of the greatest group in country music, Shenandoah, Mr. Marty Raybon! We have so many favorite Shenandoah songs with hits like “Two Dozen Roses,” “Next to Me” and “Church on Cumberland Road." The band has scored over a dozen number one records and 26 singles on billboard charts, named ACM vocal group of the year 1981 and won a GRAMMY for their for their Allison Krauss duet “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart”  Recently, Marty collaborated with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan for a new rendition of of the band's smash hit "Sunday in the South."  We're chatting all about Raybon's journey in country music, the iconic era that is 80s/90s country, advice he'd give his younger self and what's next for the band.  Today that legacy continues as original members Raybon and Mike McGuire reunite to launch a new chapter in Shenandoah’s storied career.

Y’ALL 106.7 chats with Eddie Montgomery- singer, songwriter and founding member of the country music duo Montgomery Gentry! Y’ALL caught up with Eddie ahead of 4th of July weekend just before he took the stage in Hendersonville, TN benefiting Sumner County Schools with Live Love Nashville. Y'ALL 106.7 chats with country music artist and hit songwriter Rob Williford! There was much to discuss with the recent release of his new album, Johnny & Jenny, along with the short film by the same name - we HIGHLY recommend checking it out! Originally from Gastonia, NC, Williford was largely instrumental in helping kick-off country megastar Luke Combs’ career. He toured with Combs from 2014-2023. Y'ALL 106.7 interviews Duane Propes, country music artist + One of the original four members of Little Texas Band. Duane plays bass and background vocals and formed the band with Porter Howell in the late 80s. So what was it like touring as one of the top bands in the peak of 90s country? From writing songs on the back of the bus to playing them live the very next night. We talk all about our favorite era with Duane! Many artists from the great state of Texas rallied together recently to celebrate the iconic band with a tribute cover album "A Lonestar Salute to Little Texas." Featuring artists such as Tracy Lawrence, Neal McCoy, Randy Rogers Band and more- the album was produced by Duane Propes and Brandyn Steen. The guys aren't slowing down anytime soon.
