30-year-old Denaris Patterson is described by his mother as having been a loving family man with a big contagious smile. Though police have still not identified Denaris as the man found dead near East 6th Avenue, Jaconette Patterson confirmed with us that it was, in fact, her son shot and killed on Oct. 15, 2024.
