No survivors were found after a Douglas DC-4 plane crashed on the Tanana River near Fairbanks on Tuesday morning. The latest in that search, plus in Juneau, firefighters and other public safety employees staged a protest at the capitol asking lawmakers to pass a bill supporting retirement benefits.
