He’s recognised by his peers as one of the best plastic surgeons in America, if not the world, particularly for his treatment of children and adults with severe craniofacial disorders, and is a pioneer in regenerative cell therapies used in cardiology, orthopaedic surgery and aesthetics, as well as a gifted artist and inventor. Dr. Steven Cohen is in private practice in San Diego and a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. 

Dr. Cohen has a provisional patent on his technique of anatomic and regenerative fat grafting, and Injectable Tissue Replacement and Regeneration. He also recently submitted a patent for new tools for hydro-dissection of subcutaneous tissue during facelift surgery.
