Steve Mills was the guest of honour at the WA Italian Club's annual homemade sausage championships on Wednesday night.

WA Italian Club president Sal Vallelonga told Millsy at Midday listeners the 'salsiccia' competition is always keenly contested, and follows similar contests the venue holds, such as homemade wine and limoncello.

"We had almost 50 entries last night, it was great," he told Millsy.
