Tiny houses are emerging as a possible solution to Australia's housing crisis and stunning Esperance, located eight hours east of Perth, has become the first council nationwide to recognise tiny houses as permanent dwellings.

Esperance Shire President Ron Chambers told Russell Collett on 6PR Afternoons the decision of recognition of the portable dwellings as permanent is an important step.
