Fremantle veteran David Mundy has announced this season will be his last.

Mundy debuted in round six of the 2005 season - and is the club games record holder with 371 matches to date.

By the season's end, he'll move into outright ninth in the all-time games played in AFL VFL history.

Lee Spurr, who played 120 games for the Dockers between 2012 and 2018 and was a former teammate of Mundy, said he is an absolute star.
