"For example, one of those is checking luggage. I went overseas the last couple of months and it's the first time I only took carry on and it was a game changer," Mr Groundwater said.

Avoiding flying where possible, ignoring Covid-19 and ignoring Australia are some of Ben's other tips for travel in 2023.
