The Country Women’s Association WA has launched a petition for ambulance services to be made free to all WA residents.

Barbara Atkinson, from the Bullsbrook and District CWA branch, the current cost of calling an ambulance is beyond belief and is calling for a change to inadequate funding for regional sub stations.

"Calling an ambulance shouldn't be a luxury and many people that we know won't call one because they are afraid of the bill," she told Millsy at Midday host Steve Mills.
