Dr John Gladstones, the pioneering force behind the Margaret River Wine Region passed away on Saturday night, aged 92.

John was the first to identify the region’s potential which basically placed Margaret River on the map - Larry worked with John when he was Chief Winemaker at Houghton, and joined Julie-anne Sprague on Afternoons to reflect on his life and career.
