However, it was what he used to cure the cramps which has turned heads.

The cricketer drank pickle juice to cure his cramps and it supposedly works.

Sports dietitian and ex-president of Sports Dietitians Australia Simone Austin told 6PR Afternoons many athletes are known to use pickle juice.

“When you feel the cramp just coming on, that's the time to have the pickle juice so it can try and prevent the cramp,” said Ms Austin.
