Ex-WAFL player Keegan Power on concussion dangers

View descriptionShare

Diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome in 2020 after a build of head knocks, Keegan Power launched his own Perth streetwear brand Blurred, which donates part of its profits to concussion and men's mental health charities.

The former WAFL player with Peel Thunder heard about a 6PR interview with the Concussion Legacy Foundation's Alan Pearce on Afternoons with Jo McManus earlier this week, and felt compelled to contact the show.

Pearce believes the AFL’s soft rules and penalties are incentivising dangerous play, and increasing the risk of serious head traumas to players.

Pearce's streetwear brand blurredau.com is based in Perth.
