Jack Cowin founded Hungry Jack’s after emigrating from his native Canada as a 27-year-old in 1969.

He is one of this country’s most successful entrepreneurs, building a near $5 billion empire after opening a fast food chain.

Before he became a Rich Lister he was selling trees door-to-door , was a university wrestler and studied psychology.
