Working holiday visas are being rushed through, often within 24 hours in a bid to increase the number of backpackers entering the state. 

This comes after a call by the Tourism and Transport Forum (TTF) to increase the maximum working visa age from 35 to 50 in a bid to attract more skilled workers.
