In light of the tragic shooting that took place at Tembisa Hospital yesterday, where an SASP Member shot and killed his partner who was a nurse, and then turned the gun on himself, we are looking into what assessments are done on SAPS applicants, and on the job assessments.

What Psychological support is provided to SAPS members

Kgomotso Modise (standing in for Relebogile Mabotja) speaks to award-winning creative, actress and producer Siphesihle Ndaba, and the lead actress of the film Lil_Ith. They discuss her childhood, her journey into acting, and how she has navigated rejection in the industry. Siphesihle also reflects on portraying her breakout role as Zanele “Mazet” in the popular Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora. The conversation also explores her move into producing, as she branches out behind the camera alongside director Robin De Jager. Together they co-produced their debut short film, Lil_Ith, which has screened at an Oscar- and BAFTA-qualifying festival, as well as the Joburg Film Festival.
