They discuss her childhood, her journey into acting, and how she has navigated rejection in the industry. Siphesihle also reflects on portraying her breakout role as Zanele “Mazet” in the popular Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora. The conversation also explores her move into producing, as she branches out behind the camera alongside director Robin De Jager. Together they co-produced their debut short film, Lil_Ith, which has screened at an Oscar- and BAFTA-qualifying festival, as well as the Joburg Film Festival.
