Pippa Hudson speaks to Angela Blackwell, who along with her guide dog, took on the rugged Pondoland trail in the Eastern Cape. We have two guests joining us on the couch today – one of them isn’t going to speak although you might hear her panting in the background. Her name is
Jaydee and she is a guide dog to the other guest Angela Blackwell, who is a seasoned marketing professional who lost her sight a few years ago. This dynamic duo is preparing to blaze a literal trail as they take on the Pondo Trail next month – 60km of rugged coastal terrain. It’s a pleasure to have them with us to share their story.
Lunch with Pippa Hudson is CapeTalk’s mid-afternoon show.
This 2-hour respite from hard news encourages the audience to take the time to explore, taste, read and reflect. The show - presented by former journalist, baker and water sports enthusiast Pippa Hudson - is unashamedly lifestyle driven. Popular features include a daily profile interview #OnTheCouch at 1:10pm. Consumer issues are in the spotlight every Wednesday while the team also unpacks all things related to health, wealth & the environment.
