Singer and songwriter, Haylea Heyns, was born and raised in Empangeni in the Durban area, but now lives in Cape Town.
After finishing school, she did a BA in Music and Drama Performance before debuting her musical career in 2018.
In addition to writing songs and singing, she is also a published children's author, and has acted on stage in several musicals including the West End production of "The Sound of Music".
Haylea says her latest single, Cold Water, was released a few weeks ago and is a metaphor for embracing change and getting out of her comfort zone.
