For many Johannesburg residents, the past week and weekend have been defined by dry taps, low water pressure and growing frustration as water outages affected several parts of the city. Earlier today, Johannesburg Water indicated that supply has largely been restored, but some areas are still expected to experience intermittent shortages as the system recovers. So, where do things stand now, what caused the disruptions, and when can residents expect a full return to normality?
