Maite knows what matters to young girls, and when she saw a gap in the market, she sought out create something that African girls can relate to, and is now reaping the rewards. From their skin, to their hair, to their love of fashion, Momppy Mpoppy is changing the perception little girls have about African beauty.
While plans are for children’s story books and an animated cartoon series around these fabulous little characters are in the pipelines, it’s the ability to co-ordinate the dolls' outfits with those of their owners that's most impressive. Besides being on the forefront of cutting edge fashion, Maite has shown how diverse this brand can be.
