John chats to Dr Mavuso Msimang, Struggle Stalwart in this instalment of Song, A Book and A Dish. In 1941, Msimang was born in Edendale, which is outside of Pietermaritzburg. In 1960, he enrolled in the Catholic Inkamana High School in Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal. He enrolled at the University of Fort Hare in 1962 when he was twenty years old.
