John Perlman speaks with Conrad Koch, a comedian and internationally acclaimed South African comedic ventriloquist, in this instalment of A Song, A Book and A Dish.

He began his career at the College of Magic in Cape Town and combines world-class puppetry with hilarious comedy.

He has also won multiple awards, including the 2026 Comic's Choice Innovation in Comedy Award, the Times Comic's Pen Award, Entertainer of the Year, and two International EMMY nominations.
