As the eighth edition of the Africities Summit continues in Marakesh, Morroco a number of delegates will be chairing break away session to address challenges facing the African continent. The summit will explore ways to create more sustainable cities as well as focus on development. Among the thousands in attendance is Mpho Moruakgomo who is the President of the Botswana Association of Local Authorities.

The Africities Summit is now in its 20 th year taken place every three years since 1998. In 2018 under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI the 8th edition will be held in Marrakesh, Morocco between the 20th and 24th November 2018
