USAID has announced a 38-million US dollars in additional humanitarian assistance for the people of Sudan, including 23 million dollars to the UN Children's Fund. The announcement came at the Unite with the Children of Sudan event in Nairobi, Kenya.

The event was organised by USAID, UNICEF, and Save the Children, to highlight the challenges young Sudanese face amid 14 months of war. Lulu Gaboo spoke to Dr Musa Chibwana, Regional Humanitarian Policy Advocacy Campaigns Manager for Save the Children in Eastern and Southern Africa..
