Preparations are being finalised for welcoming the third group of South African National Defence Force members that will arrive at the Waterkloof air force base in Pretoria from the DRC this afternoon. The soldiers were deployed to the eastern Congo as part of the SADeC peacekeeping force. On Friday 249 soldiers touched down after flying from Mwanza, Tanzania, aboard an Air Tanzania Boeing 787. It was originally scheduled to land in Bloemfontein but the flight was diverted to Pretoria due to ground support challenges. Channel Africa's reporter Micheal Mbewe followed with the story.
