Tanzanian High Commissioner to South Africa, Ambassador James Buana, has paid a moving tribute to the late South African Ambassador to France, Nathi Mthethwa, who passed away in France on 30 September. Speaking to Channel Africa at Mthethwa's memorial service at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation headquarters in Pretoria, Ambassador Buana expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the South African people and government.
He described Mthethwa as a dedicated public servant, a former ANC youth leader, trade unionist, and diplomat whose legacy will continue to inspire. Channel Africa reporter Micheal Mbewe spoke to Ambassador Buana.
