Also on Monday, President Ramaphosa fired former Higher Education and Training Minister Doctor Nobuhle Nkabane. On the same night, Ramaphosa suspended the South Gauteng province National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) head Adv Andrew Chauke, pending an inquiry into his fitness to hold office.
