The Speaker of South Africa's Parliament Thoko Didiza has been elected chair of the Africa Group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Uzbekistan.
As Chairperson her role of the Africa Group, her responsibilities will include convening member parliaments. She spoke to our reporter Dimakatso Leshoro, who asked her about her priorities in the role.
