South Africa's Minister of Electricity, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, has announced that the country has experienced 272 days of uninterrupted power supply best performance in 5 years. He highlighted that this achievement is the result of building a solid foundation to sustain power performance, although he cautioned that South Africa is not yet out of the woods. Dr Ramokgopa, alongside power utility Eskom, earlier hosted the final Energy Action Plan media briefing of the year, where they reflected on the key accomplishments and challenges faced over the past 12 months.
