Tuberculosis (TB) is found in nearly every country in the world. South-East Asia remains the region most affected by TB, followed by Africa and the Western Pacific Region.

 According to the World Health Organization (WHO), TB prevention, testing and treatment has saved more than 79 million lives. For organisations operating in regions in Africa, such as South Africa, Nigeria, and Kenya, health and safety concerns may arise.
