Gambia's president Adama Barrow, now chairman of the institution, has brought to a close the 15th edition of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit which opened recently.

The union has taken a resolution for a ceasefire in Gaza, Palestine and also the right for Palestinians to have their own state.

The ummah Islamic also intends to sue Israel at the ICC for crimes in Gaza. The other important point is the appointment of a special envoy  who will work with all the concerned parties and the international community to step up efforts in the face of this phenomenon.
