As the release of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) in South Africa results draws near, the Minister of Basic Education Siviwe Gwarube together with the Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Reginah Mhaule, will announce the top-performing pupils and provincial results this evening.
More than 920 000 candidates sat for the 2025 NSC examinations nationwide, making it one of the largest national assessment processes ever undertaken. With the official release entering its final hours, matriculants across the country are experiencing a mix of anticipation and nervous excitement as they await confirmation of their results.
Experts have urged parents to be vigilant for signs of distress among their children.
