Namibia's authorities are set to face a legal challenge from two political parties over the country's watershed elections last year.

The parties are the Independent Patriots for Change and the Landless People's Movement.

Their legal challenge is centred around the President's proclamation of the election and the way the Electoral Commission of Namibia conducted the poll.
