South Africa's election board is back online after it went down for around two hours earlier this morning. In a statement the South African Electoral Commission has assured the country that the data remains intact and has not been compromised.

ELECTION PREDICTIONS

A recent report released by Save the Children shows that the number of attacks on schools and education in Sudan has increased fourfold since the beginning of conflict a year ago.

This includes airstrikes, torture, killing and abduction of school teachers and sexual violence.

A group of aid agencies, that work on education in Sudan, has warned that the country is on the brink of the worst education crisis in the world, with the majority of schools closed.

The former President of the United States, Donald Trump has been found guilty of falsifying documents in an 11-week trial which centred on hush money payments ahead of the 2016 elections.

He is the first President to be convicted of a crime in that country.  After deliberations over two day, a 12-member jury announced it had found Trump guilty on all 34 counts he faced.

Justice Juan Merchan has set sentending for July 11th, three days before the start of the Republican National Convention expected to formally nominate Trump for President.
