Kenyan President William Ruto is in Juba, South Sudan, to talk with President Salva Kiir over the Tumaini (hope) Initiative to consolidate the country's political transition.
The two leaders have agreed to secure the regional endorsement of the Tumaini Initiative and urge the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) to mobilise resources and goodwill of the international community, including the Troika group of nations to enable full implementation of the peace initiative.
