Deputy Chief Justice Mandisa Maya is set to take over as the Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa from the first of September.
The appointment follows a consultation process by President Cyril Ramaphosa with the Judicial Service Commission and the leaders of political parties represented in the National Assembly, per Constitutional prescripts.
