Ghanaian activists will march to the Independence Square in Accra daily from today until Saturday (05 October 2024). This is part of demonstrations calling for the release of the protesters who were arrested on the 23rd of September and also to denounce illegal mining known as "Galamsey. The three-day action has been called under the slogans "FreeTheCitizens" and "SayNoToGalamsay. The protest action is expected to draw thousands of participants.
