The leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Julius Malema, has been sentenced to five years' imprisonment in his firearm case at a Magistrate's Court in KuGompo in the Eastern Cape province, South Africa.
This relates to an incident in which he discharged a firearm during the EFF's fifth anniversary celebrations in Mdantsane in 2018.
