A non-profit international organisation is urging leaders and philanthropists to unite in scaling up humanitarian aid to Gaza, in order to reduce the loss of life and alleviate the suffering of civilians — particularly children and the elderly. African Rivers says the escalating conflict in the Middle East is deeply concerning, as it impacts water resources, wildlife, and human lives.
