Synthetic hairpieces are normally used only once,  but many times we fail to consider what actually happens with the hair pieces once the users are done with it?

The plastics that are used in synthetic hair extensions can take some hundreds of years to break down, and they then contribute plastic pollution problem.

Well a group of women at a workshop in Kenya, recycle it. At the workshop, Alisam Products Development and Design, not only recycles synthetic hair, but they also do fish leather tannery, banana fibre wastes management as well as Natural dyes production.
