Amnesty International South Africa (SA) says 30 years into democracy millions in the Southern African country still grapples with the denial of their fundamental human rights. The human rights organisation says lack of access to quality healthcare, safe drinking water, high murder rates and increases in cases of Gender-based violence (GBV) are some of the signs that the democratic government has failed to uphold the human rights of many.
