A female passenger has been handed a lifetime ban by the Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) after allegedly assaulting crew members on a flight from Uyo to Lagos on Sunday. The AON is the umbrella body for Nigeria’s domestic airlines. However, calls have emerged for Nigerian lawyers and human rights advocates to support Comfort Emmanson, with some claiming she is a victim whose fundamental rights have been violated.
