AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) South Africa and partners are continuing to pressure pharmaceutical giant Gilead Sciences to stop what they call "its greedy tactics" and put lives before profits.
The foundation says that Gilead's profiteering tactics have resulted in exorbitant prices for HIV and hepatitis C drugs, making them unaffordable for many people and denying access to life-saving medications. To further discuss their demands is Dr.
Kate Ssamula, Country Program Director for AHF South Africa and Director Monitoring and Evaluation at AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
