A major conservation charity linked to Prince Harry has admitted that human rights abuses were committed by its rangers in Congo-Brazzaville, following an independent review into allegations made by members of the Baka community against African Parks rangers. An investigation into reports of atrocities was carried out by Omnia Strategy LLP, a London-based law firm after complaints by Survival International, and a major report by UK newspaper the Mail. Survival had been calling on African Parks to put a stop to years of abuse by their guards against Indigenous Baka people whose ancestral land has been taken over by Odzala-Kokoua National Park which is managed by African Parks.
